The problem
The project is somewhere with no infrastructure at all. No power grid, no cable in the ground, sometimes no road worth the name. Hundreds of people, heavy machinery and expensive equipment need to be connected, powered and watched over, and the nearest place that sells a replacement part is a long drive away.
Why it matters
This is the work the rest of the services on this site grew out of, and it is why the home and small business work is straightforward by comparison. Building remote site communications for a construction camp with no grid forces you to solve every problem properly, because there is nobody to call and no shop to drive to. Connections have to bond multiple paths because any single one will fail. Power has to be generated on site and monitored, because a flat battery on a hilltop repeater means a day lost. Equipment has to survive heat, dust and vibration. Systems have to keep working when the link to the outside world is severed, which means computing has to happen locally. Every one of those constraints produces a habit that makes the ordinary jobs better.

- 05Local server capacity in dust-proof, climate-controlled enclosures, so drawings and safety logs stay available even when the outside link is cut
- 06Automatic perimeter monitoring that tells people and vehicles from wildlife and weather, and alerts security immediately
- 07Live tracking of personnel, vehicles and assets on a shared map for command staff
- 08Real-time voice translation for multi-national crews, running locally, which reduces safety incidents caused by language barriers
- 09Offline AI and technical knowledge bases, so crews can query manuals, regulations and inventory with no internet at all
- 10On-site technical leadership, procurement of ruggedized equipment, and design review before ground is broken
