About Vinicius Fonseca — Vfonseca Engineering

Custom AI Agents · Remote Operations · Built to Deploy Anywhere

Vfonseca Engineering

We build and deploy custom AI agents for businesses — secured, integrated, and managed on your terms. Our expertise spans remote operations, workforce automation, and local AI deployment for regulated industries.

The Company

Vfonseca Engineering LLC was founded in 2025 by Vinicius Fonseca — a Mechatronics Engineer and Director of Systems Engineering with 12+ years of experience building technology that works in the hardest conditions on earth.

We specialize in building and deploying custom AI agents for businesses — not chatbots, not SaaS subscriptions, but real automation that connects to your systems, follows your rules, and operates on your terms. Our engineering team spans the US and Brazil, bringing deep expertise in AI integration, remote operations, and regulated industry deployments.

What makes us different: we run our own company on the same framework we build for clients. Ozer, our AI operations manager, coordinates our internal workflows, manages follow-ups, and keeps our operations running — using the same agentic architecture we deploy for customers. We don't pitch theory. We show you production.

Our founder has a track record that spans XPRIZE Wildfire competition finalist, RealLIST Engineers 2022 recognition, full AWS infrastructure ownership at a growing DC startup, and an active field deployment supporting humanitarian aid IT infrastructure in Israel — installing and maintaining Starlink terminals, LTE backhaul, VPNs, and security systems under hostile conditions.

That field experience is the foundation of the company. “Technology That Works Anywhere” isn't a tagline — it's where we come from.

Selected Projects

01

XPRIZE Wildfire — Autonomous Response System

DC Environmental Monitoring Startup
Challenge

Build an autonomous wildfire response system capable of detecting, targeting, and suppressing fires without human intervention.

Action

Led engineering of a system combining IR-based fire detection, autonomous drone dispatch, and precision water cannon targeting. The system could identify a fire signature, calculate trajectory, and direct suppression autonomously.

Result

XPRIZE Wildfire finalist. Demonstrated fully autonomous fire detection → drone dispatch → water cannon suppression loop in field conditions.

02

Full AWS Cloud Infrastructure Ownership

DC Environmental Monitoring Startup
Challenge

Grow and manage the entire cloud backend for a fleet of connected environmental sensors at scale.

Action

Took full ownership of all AWS infrastructure — IoT Gateway for device telemetry, RDS and Timestream for time-series data, SQS/SNS for event routing, API Gateway for data access. Also pioneered LLM agent integration to automate internal SOPs and administrative workflows.

Result

Scalable, secure foundation supporting all company products. Technology presented at SXSW; RealLIST Engineers 2022 recognition.
